Karthik Subbaraj to release six short films on big screen

Director Karthik Subbaraj took the short film route to feature film. This has led the talented director to float a company Stone Bench that would release and encourage short film makers. As a part of this initiative, he would be releasing six short films in big screens from tomorrow, the 6th March.

Talking about this Karthik says, “We have shortlisted six short films and are planning to release them in big screens in Chennai, Bangalore and Coimbatore from 6th March. My short film also would be screened in which Vijay Sethupathy has acted.”

He further adds that depending on the response that he gets for these films, he would be expanding this venture. “I want popular directors to do short films for us. Directors AL Vijay, Nalan Kumarasamy and Kamalakannan have agreed to direct short films. We have also asked directors Mani Ratnam and Shankar to do short films for us”.
