Kashmora uses 360-Degree omnidirectional camera rig

Tamil cinema remains consistently on top of all the regional film industries for spearheading innovative ideas in both narrative and technical panoramas.



Kashmora directed by Gokul, is the latest one to have its realms for this very reason as the team makes use of 360-Degree omnidirectional camera rig for shooting a particular sequence in this film starring Karthi, Nayantara and Sri Divya in lead roles.



Sharing about using this technology for the first time in Indian film industry, director Gokul says, “First time we are using 360-degree omnidirectional camera Rig for a particular sequence. Initially, we planned to have CG works for this sequence, but later came across this technology that could make use of for a perfect output. It is a multiple camera rig with a 360-degree field of view in the horizontal plane, or with a visual field that covers (approximately) the entire sphere. Omnidirectional cameras are important in areas where large visual field coverage is needed, such as in panoramic photography.” Click the Movie button below for more info:
