Keep your carpets sparkling clean

New Delhi, Sep 4 (IANS) Carpets can make dull floors look more vibrant, but make sure you take care of them properly.

Rashi Bajaj, Carpet Couture, shares a few easy tips to take care of carpets:

- The first thing that you need to do is buy carpets made of silk or wool as they are easy to clean and are resistant to soiling.

- Efficient carpet vacuuming works best using a vacuum cleaner with revolving bristle strips. Shedding is a common thing as far as wool carpets are concerned. Hence, gentle vacuuming should be done to get rid of all the loose bits of natural fibre on the surface.

- Spills and stains should be removed immediately.

- Wet cleaning should be done as and when required.
