After her successful first film Vanakkam Chennai with Mirchi Shiva and Priya Anand, with the chartbusting music of Anirudh, Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi has turned her vision towards the struggles of transgender and their society.

With the backup of ‘Lyca Productions’, she has directed a music video titled 'Sadhayai Meeri' which has been launched on 11th February by director Pandiraj. Composed by Santosh Narayanan and penned by Vivek Velmurugan, the music video 'Sadhayai Meeri' has been captured by DoP Balasubramaniam and edited by Lawrence Kishore.

Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi says, “This is really a very sensitive issue of our society which has gone unnoticed for decades. All they ask is love and dignified social recognition. ‘Neglect’ is a worst punishment to any human being and here we are endorsing to share our love with them on this Valentine’s Day. 'Sadhayai Meeri' starring 12 transgender is the first step for spreading our love to them and let us stand by them at all times”.
