Komban release advanced

Apr 1, 2015 JB

Komban starring Karthi and Lakshmi Menon got itself embroiled in a controversy when Pudhiya Thamizhagam outfit leader Krishnaswamy filed a case against the film seeking its ban.

But the entire film industry came in support of the film and as a very strategic move, producer Studio Green advanced the release date from 2nd April to 1st April and theatres have also started taking advance bookings.

There was widespread support for the film’s release and Seeman came to Komban’s rescue with six questions thrown to Krishnaswamy. He said that Krishnaswamy created the same problem many years ago to Kamal’s film Sandiyar which was changed to Virumandi later. He added that if some lesser known people were involved in the film, Krishnaswamy would not create such an issue. Sarathkumar also came strongly against such frivolous protests and said that once Censor officials have cleared a film, no one has the authority to stall a film.
