'Kuttichathan' turns advocate

The actor who played the character of Kuttichathan in the first 3D movie in Malayalam, 'My Dear Kuttichathen' turns an advocate. The then child artist is a lawyer now in his real life.


M P Ramnath, the Kuttichathen in the movie, is Adv M P Ramnath in the highcourt. Ramnath was the centre of attraction in that movie which has attracted not only children but also people of all ages.


He made his debut as a child artist through 'Oppol' directed by K S Sethumadhavan and written by M T. He was awarded the National Award for the Best Child Artist for his performance in this movie. He got the National Award for the second time for his performance in 'My Dear Kuttichathen'.


Ramnath has also done a remarkale role in Satyan Anthikkad's 'Kaliyil Alpam Karyam'. After this he kept himself away from the film industry to concentrate on his studies. He had completed his Degree from Layola College, Madras and his Law from Ernakulam Law College.
