KV Anand and Soori lose their fathers

It was a sad day yesterday (27th March) when two important technicians of the film industry lost their fathers. Director KV Anand who is awaiting his next release Kavan on the 31st March lost his father Venkatesan. He was 74 years old and is survived by wife Anusuya and sons Anand, Kamalakannan and Sridhar. The cremation is is expected to happen today, the 28th March.

Comedian Soori also lost his father Muthusamy last night due to age related issues. Muthusamy was 75 years old and was residing in Rasakoor near Othakadai, Madurai. The funeral rites are expected to happen today, the 28th March in the evening.

Veteran singer late Sirkazhi Govindarajan’s wife Avayambal also passed away last night (27th March) due to breathing issues. She was 80 years and is survived by her son Sirkazhi G Sivachidambaram and his family.
