Lakshmi Menon in 'Akasha Ganga' remake

The industry grapevine is that director Vinayan is planning to remake his 1999 hit horror movie ‘Akasha Ganga’ into Tamil. Reports say that Lakshmi Menon will be seen in the prominent role in the remake.

Vinayan is now busy in the making of the 3D movie ‘Little Superman’. He may begin with the shooting of the remake after the completion of ‘Little Superman’.

Vinayan is noted for his films which belong to the genre of horror movies. In ‘Akasha Ganga’ Divya Unni and Mayuri were the lead female actors. The other cast details of the remake movie are not finalized.

Lakshmi Menon is doing more movies in the Tamil industry. Her Malayalam movie ‘Avatharam’ is progressing. She is cast opposite Dileep in ‘Avatharam’.
