Lakshmi Menon replaces Shruti Haasan

Lakshmi Menon, after her first film Kumki with Vikram Prabhu is seen in many successful films like Kutti Puli, Sundara Pandian, Pandia Naadu and Naan Mahaan Alla. Tamil film industry considers her as a lucky mascot.

Director Suseendhiran who directed Lakshmi Menon in Pandia Naadu has roped her again in his next film that will have Vishal as the hero. It was said that Shruthi Haasan will be doing the female lead in this film as she has worked with Vishal in Hari’s Poojai too.

But it appears that Lakshmi Menon has replaced the 7aum Arivu heroine in this film. Director Suseendhiran confirms this and says, “Yes, it is true that Shruti was considered but she clearly said she did not have dates till April 2015 and since Lakshmi’s dates were available, we brought her in”. The film is yet to be titled as the director is working on his script.
