Lensman Sunil Guruvayoor passes away

Acclaimed photographer Sunil Guruvayoor, who made a mark in films and photography, died on Tuesday at his home at Guruvayoor. He was 69. The talented photographer’s end came following a heart attack.

Sunil entered the filmdom as a still photographer through the film ‘Vyshali’, directed by Bharathan.

He has worked in a number of films in Malayalam, including ‘Passenger,’ ‘Black’, ‘Mayavi’, and ‘Nagarangalil Chennu Raparkkam’. Sunil is survived by wife Ambika, daughter Anitha and son Anil.
