Maari 2 in 2017

Maari starring Dhanush and Kajal Agarwal was directed by Balaji Mohan and was released in 2015. The film had Anirudh’s music which was a chartbuster. It was about a local don and his dealings. Robo Shankar caught the attention of the audience with this film.

During the release of Maari, it was announced that the film would have a sequel. Director Balaji Mohan was also working on the script.

Now the information is that the scripting is nearing completion and that the film would start rolling in the beginning of 2017 and the release around the end of the year. Dhanush is right now awaiting his film Kodi, Thodari and also is busy with Gautham Menon’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta and an English film. He would complete them and join Balaji Mohan.
