Madhavan in Charlie remake

Charlie in Malayalam fetched good name for its lead Dulquer Salmaan and also to its director. Looks like the same is going to be remade in Tamil. Talks in the industry suggest that Madhavan is the chosen one to reprise the role (in Tamil) done by Dulquer in the original.

The Tamil remake rights of Charlie have been purchased by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa, who are planning to produce the movie under the banner of Pramod Films. Martin Prakkat who directed the Malayalam version of Charlie might do the same in Tamil too.

Meanwhile there are also talks that say that Maddy will work with director Karu Palaniappan. He is said to be doing a film with the husband and wife duo Pushkar Gayathry called Vikram Veda where he would be sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi.
