Madhavan to do Charlie remake in Tamil

Charlie, the Malayalam film featuring Dulquer Salmaan directed by Martin Prakkat was a great hit and appreciated audience’s applause and critic’s good words too. Now this film is reported to be remade in Tamil, Bengali and Marathi.

All the three remakes, Madhavan will be reprising the role that Dulquer played in the original. Maddy confirmed the news and also said that director AL Vijay will be directing in all the three versions. Currently, heroine hunt is going on for this film.

On the other hand, Maddy is reported to be doing three Tamil films this year including Charlie remake. The other two are Pushkar Gayathrie’s Vikram-Veda and the third one with Karu Palaniappan. Looks like Maddy is making up for the long absence in the Tamil film industry especially before Irudhi Suttru. Click the Movie button below for more info:
