Madras fame Kalai Arasan on his success secret

The film Madras starring Karthi and Catherine Tresa and directed by Pa.Ranjith went on to earn review and revenue. The film was much appreciated for its music, screenplay, direction and performance.

Kalai Arasan who played Karthi’s friend was hugely noticed by one and all. Although Kalai earlier featured in Nandalala, Attakathi, Mugamoodi and Madha Yaanai Koottam, it was Madras which showed the spotlight on this young actor.

Kalai feels that it is imperative to understand the needs of the director and mould oneself according to it. One has to totally surrender to the director, the actor feels.
