‘Maidaan' release announced

Ajay Devgn-starrer sports drama ‘Maidaan’ has got a release date now. The film, which was first slated to release in 2020, will hit the big screens during Eid in April.

Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios, this sports drama is dedicated to the golden years of Indian football. Devgn will be playing the role of the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim, known as the founding father of Indian football.

Syed Abdul Rahim served as the coach and manager of the Indian football team from 1950 until he died in 1963. The film also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh. Click the Movie button below for more info:
