Jayaram in Kamal film

Kamal who has paid homage to the Father of Malayalam cinema J.C Daniel, is next coming up with a film which gives importance to drama, the art form which has lost its sheen after the influx of movies, television and internet.

Titled ‘Nadan’, the movie unfolds the crises faced by professional dramas today. According to Kamal, his new film is about the dilapidation faced by professional dramas due to lack of artists.

Jayaram is roped in by Kamal to do the lead role in ‘Nadan’. Jayaram joins Kamal after ‘Swapna Sanchari’. The film will have old theatre songs.

S Suresh Babu is the scenarist and Ouseppachen composes music for ‘Nadan’. The movie will start rolling in Kollam and Kayamkulam from August.
