Mallika plays a lead role in 'Katha Marukayanu'

Mallika is to play one of the female leads in the upcoming movie ‘Katha Marukayanu’. Scripted and directed by P K Sunil Nath, the movie is produced under the banner of Welcome Productions.

'Katha Marukayanu' is a woman-oriented movie, which revolves around two women, who fight against corruption and injustice that prevails in society.

The rest of the cast is not finalized.

Mallika won a Special Mention from the Jury at the 59th National Film Awards for her performance in the film ‘Byari’ the first feature film made in the Beary language, in 2011.
