Mammootty in Ranjith's 'Leela'?

Industry grapevine is that Mammootty joins Ranjith for the upcoming flick ‘Leela’. Their combination has earlier produced many acclaimed and super hit films like ‘Kayyoppu’, ‘Pranjiyettan and the Saint’.

‘Leela’ is based on the famous short story by R Unni of the same title. The heroine is not confirmed. Earlier Shankar Ramakishnan and Ann Augustine were supposed to do the lead roles in the movie.

The movie will start rolling from mid 2013. The cinematography is by Kunjunni. Scripted by Ranjith, ‘Leela’ is produced under Ranjith’s Capitol Theatres.
