'Manichitrathazhu 2' titled 'Gitanjali'

Priyadarshan’s new psycho thriller film with Mohanlal playing the role of psychiatrist Dr Sunny, the role which he has done in ‘Manichitrathazhu’, is titled ‘Gitanjali’.

The movie is scripted by Dennis Joseph. According to Priyadarshan, ‘Gitanjali’ is not the second part of ‘Manichitrathazhu. Only the character of Dr Sunny will be in the new film. The other main characters in ‘Manichitrathazhu’ will not be there in ‘Gitanjali’.

Thiruvananthapuram is the main shooting location. The locations also include Delhi and Dubai. The heroine is not finalized. Innocent, Ganesh Kumar, Madhu and Siddique are also cast in main roles in ‘Gitanjali’.
