'Meleparambil Aanveedu' is a hit in Assam

Rajasenan’s 1993 romantic comedy movie ‘Meleparambil Aanveedu’ with Jayaram and Shobhana in the main roles was one of the highest grossed Malayalam films of the early 90s.

Mani C Kappen, who was the producer of the Malayalam movie, remade the film in Assamese with the title ‘Borolar Ghor’. The movie stars Utpal Das and Debasmita Banerjee in the lead roles. Mani C Kappan is also the producer of the movie.

Many great actors like Nipon Goswami, Sreelekha Mukherji, and Vishnu Kargaria are also starred in important roles. Sreejith tunes music for the lyrics penned by Assam police ADGP Dilip Bora.

The movie which is successfully running in the cinemas now is expected to be a big hit.

Mani C Kappen is also planning to remake ‘Meleparambil Aanveedu’ in Hindi in association with the Reliance Group which will be directed by Siddique.
