Mohanlal and Prithviraj not in 'D Company'

The latest news is that Mohanlal and Prithviraj will not be part of the anthology movie ‘D Company’. ‘D Company’ is expected to be an action anthology movie.

It was announced that Shaji Kailas, Joshiy, Diphan, M Padmakumar, and Vinod Vijayan would direct short movies for ‘D Company’. But now it is reported that there will not be movies by Shaji Kailas and Joshiy in the first part of this anthology and they will be part of the second part.

Prithviraj and Mohanlal were roped in to do the lead roles in the movies by Shaji Kailas and Joshiy respectively. But as they are busy with other shootings, these films will be postponed for the second part which is expected to be released early next year.

The first part of ‘D Company’ will have duration of 1.5 hours with three short films by Padmakumar (‘Oru Bolivian Diary’), Diphan (‘Gangs of Vadakkumnathan’), and Vinod Vijayan (‘Diya’). Fahad Fazil, Anoop Menon, Jayasurya, Asif Ali, and Samudrakkani will be doing the main roles in these three movies.
