Mohanlal plays a Sardar in V M Vinu's next film

Mohanlal and V M Vinu are joining after a gap of 10 years. Their last outing ‘Balettan’ was released in 2003. The film was a box office hit.

In the new film Mohanlal plays a Sardar, Happy Singh. Happy Singh is a wrestler who lives in a village where wrestling is a favorite sport. Deepu Karunakaran scripts the movie.

The film which is expected to be a comedy caper is set in the 1980s. The yet untitled movie will be shot mainly in Punjab and Bangalore.
