'Shutter', at Dubai Film Festival
Nov 17, 2012 NRWritten and directed by Joy Mathew, the movie ‘Shutter’ will be screened at the Dubai International Film Festival.
This is for the first time that Dubai Fest showcases the premiere of a Malayalam movie. The movie has also been selected to compete in the 17th International Film Festival of Kerala.
The film which narrates the events that happens in the time span of 48 hours is a suspense thriller. The film features a poem by Pablo Neruda, composed and sung by Shahabaz Aman.
This is the directorial debut of Joy Mathew who is the hero in John Abraham’s 1986 movie ‘Amma Ariyan’. Lal and Sreenivasan appear in the main roles in ‘Shutter’.
