Mammootty as Cheraman Perumal

Mammootty has successfully enacted many historical characters in ‘Oru Vadakkan Veeragadha’, Pazhazhiraja’, etc and these were all super hits. Now Mammootty is again getting ready to do another historical character – Cheraman Perumal.

According to reports, Mammootty has been approached by a director to do the role of Cheraman Perumal. More information regarding the movie is yet to be announced.

Cheraman Perumal was the ruler of Chera dynasty in Southern India. The last Cheraman Perumal absconded mysteriously.
