Mammootty as villain for Vijay?

Vijay’s films have always invoked curiosity among his fans and this excitement does not seem to abate at all. While he is busy completing his 59th film titled as Theri with Atlee, his 60th film to be directed by Bharathan of Azhagiya Thamizh Magan fame has started the pre-production work. The film will soon roll out once Vijay is free of his commitments from Theri.

While the casting and other technical details are getting firmed up on this film, there are widespread speculations in the media that Malayalam Mega Star Mammootty would be doing the role of an antagonist in the film.

On earlier occasions, Mammootty has been part of many Tamil films like Azhagan, Thalapathy, Mounam Sammadam to name some, he has not done a negative role in Tamil film. If this information turns out true, it would be exciting to watch the fireworks between Vijay and Mammootty on screen. This film is produced by Vijaya Productions.
