Mammootty-Ranjith-Venu film titled 'Munnariyippu'

Mammootty’s upcoming movie which will be directed by cameraman Venu is titled ‘Munnariyippu’. The movie will be produced by Ranjith. This is Venu’s second directorial venture, the first one being ‘Daya’ starring Manju warier in the lead role.

The pooja of the film was held on Wednesday at Kozhikode. R Unni scripts this movie which is produced under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Pictures by Ranjith.

Aparna Gopinath is the heroine. Earlier it was reported that Rima Kallingal will be the female lead. Nedumudi Venu also does an important role in ‘Munnariyippu’.

Mammootty-Ranjith team’s last outing ‘Kadal Kadannoru Mathukkutty’ was received with lukewarm response from the viewers.
