Mammootty- Salim Ahmed movie titled 'Pathemari'

After ‘Kunjananthante Kada’, Mammootty and Salim Ahmed are again joining for a film titled ‘Pathemari’. Salim Ahmed has earlier announced that he will be making a film with Mammootty and the movie will be about emigrant life. But the title was not decided then.

The movie has the tag line – The journey of survival. According to reports ‘Pathemari’ will have a varied presentation style. The movie narrates both the hardships and happiness that Gulf life has provided to Malayalees. ‘Pathemari’ is scripted by Salim himself.

Sreenivasan, Siddique, Salim Kumar, Joy Mathew, and Yavanika Gopalakrishnan also are part of the cast. The female lead is not yet finalized.

Madhu Ambatt will wield the camera and Rasool Pookkutty will handle the sound recording of ‘Pathemari’. It is expected that the movie will start rolling soon. Dubai will be one of the main locations.
