Mammootty to join Salim Ahmed again

It is reported that Mammootty is teaming up with Salim Ahmed again. This is Salim Ahmed’s third film. The heroine is not yet finalized.

The movie narrates the story of Gulf Malayalees through the character of Pallickal Narayanan played by Mammootty. Sreenivasan, Salim Kumar, and Siddique join Mammootty in the film.

Most part of the film will be shot at Dubai and the rest in Hyderabad. The social and economic changes that took place in Kerala due to the Gulf money also form one of the themes of the movie.

Salim Ahmed’s first movie ‘Adaminte Makan Abu’ which has won many awards is being remade in Arabic. The production works of the Arabic version is now progressing. The Arabic remake will be released in March. This is the first South Indian film to be released in Arabic.
