Mammootty's 'Varsham' started rolling

Mammootty’s new film ‘Varsham’ has started rolling from today (Independence Day) in Thrissur. Flag hoisting scene was the first shot of the film.

‘Varsham’ is directed by Renjith Sankar. Mammootty’s ‘Pranchiyettan’ and Renjith Sankar’s ‘Punnyalan Aggarbathies were also set in Thrissur.

Apart from Mammootty, Mamta Mohandas, Asha Sarath, Irshad, T G Ravi, Sunil Sugatha, Sarayu, and Sudheer Karamana also are part of the main cast. ‘Vikramadityan’ fame Santhosh Keezhattoor also does a prominent role in this movie.

Manoj Pillai is the cinematographer. Santhosh Varma’s lines are composed by Bijibal. ‘Varsham’ is produced by Mammootty in the banner of Playhouse.
