Mani Ratnam asked Nani to dub

The much respected director Mani Ratnam’s next Oh Kadhal Kanmani is being dubbed in Telugu too with the title OK Bangaram. The film features Dulquer Salman, Nithya Menen, Prakash Raj and Kanika. Music is score by A R Rahman and cinematography is handled by P C Sreeram.

The film has completed shooting and is in its post production phase now. Dubbing is going on and heroine Nithya Menen has dubbed her own voice for both Tamil and Telugu versions.

However, Dulquer Salman has spoken his lines only in Tamil and Telugu popular hero Nani has spoken for him in Telugu. It seems that director Mani Ratnam himself had called Nani to dub for Dulquer. Informing about this in his twitter page, Nani says, “For the first time I am giving my voice for another actor. When you get a call from the legend himself, how can you not”.
