Mani Ratnam fixes his star

Mani Ratnam, the prolific director’s last film was Kadal which was met with mixed responses. He is now busy with his next project which kickstarted from 6th October.

The cast and crew details are yet to be known but for a few aspects. Dulquar Salman, son of Malayalam mega star Mammotty has been roped in to play the lead role. P C Sreeram would be handling cinematography and Mani’s favorite music composer A R Rahman will score the music for the film.

One more person who is appeared to have come on board is Prakash Raj. The duo worked together in Iruvar where Prakash Raj played the role of Kalaignar Karunanidhi and also in Bombay and Kannathil Muthamittal. The story and the genre of the film are not yet known and so are the other cast members. Official information is expected soon.
