Manisha Koirala for Kamal Haasan

Kamal Haasan’s current release Uttama Villain has lapped up critic’s acclaim and also audience’s approval. While his Papanasam, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam is getting ready to hit the screens soon, he has started his work on his next project.

The film was earlier said to be titled Ore Iravu but now reports say that it is the working title and the film is actually titled as Thoonga Vanam. This project has Trisha as the lady lead and Ghibran as the music director. Prakash Raj also plays an important role in the film and Kamal’s long time associate Rajesh is directing the film.

The latest addition to Thoonga Vanam appears to be Manisha Koirala. She has incidentally acted with Kamal in Indian and then later Aalavandhan. The film is said to be a thriller that happens in one night. The unit plans to shoot the film in Mauritius. Official confirmation is awaited. Click the Movie button below for more info:
