Meenakshi becomes Parthiban's pair

Meenakshi who appeared in Karuppusamy Kuthagaidharar and Mandira Punnagai has been booked to play Parthiban’s pair in Vetrimaran’s next film called Soodhadi. This film will have Dhanush as the hero and is produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaran’s Grassroot Film Company. G V Prakash is the music director, TE Kishore is the editor and Velraj is the cinematographer.

Soodhadi will have Lakshmi Menon as Dhanush’s arm candy and Kay Kay Menon of Udhayam NH 4 fame and Pasupathy are also on the cast list. The film shot for a few days in ECR and will go into next schedule soon.

Meenakshi says that director Vetrimaran came to Mumbai and explained her role which required someone to be innocent and beautiful. She also adds that she is yet to sign on the dotted line but plans to do when she comes to Chennai. Click the Movie button below for more info:
