Meera Nandan not to quit movies

There were many rumors spreading about Meera Nandan quitting movies. The reason cited is that Meera Nandan has recently joined Radio Red 94.7 FM in Dubai as a Radio Jockey.

But the actress herself has denied the news and confirmed that being an RJ is just another amazing phase of her career. She adds that she will never quit movies and that she passionately loves movies.

Her facebook status goes thus:

I was told that I am not doing movies anymore and was totally surprised to hear that...I see Radio Red 94.7 as just another amazing phase of my career...

I want to let you all know that I have not at all quit Movies unlike what I read in many magazines by now…

Cinema is something which I always love passionately...

Meera Nandan’s new film ‘Mylanchi Monjulla Veedu’ has hit theaters today. Meera is paired opposite Asif Ali in this movie which also casts Jayaram and Kaniha in the lead roles.
