In connection with the completion of 100 years of Indian cinema, south Indian film industry will be putting up a mega show in Chennai in September 21 till 24.

Members from the four southern film industries will be present on the occasion.

However, actor Mohan Babu has appealed to the producer’s council and film chamber to postpone the event considering the situation in Andhra Pradesh.

Mohan Babu has sent a letter mentioning that the time is not appropriate to celebrate anything. He wrote, “Telangana and Seemandhra regions are two eyes for the industry. However in the present day situation most of the people are fighting for their own cause. The situation is tense and people are emotional. I don’t think it’s suitable for us to celebrate and also we can’t skip the function. Hence, I am appealing the council and chamber to look in to the matter and postpone the event”.

It is not known whether the organizers will reschedule the event or not.
