Mohanlal as Kunjali Marakkar

Mohanlal will essay the role of the historical character Kunjali Marrakkar for a 15 minutes light and sound show based on the life of Kunjali Marakkar, which will be showcased as part of the curtain raiser of National Games.

Mohanlal will act as Kunjali Marakkar and will then be part of the dais as a dignitary. The program on Kunjali Marakkkar directed by T K Rajeevkumar was shot at Chitranjali Studio.

Mohanlal will play 5th Kunjali Marakkar . Four Portuguese drama artists will also perform along with Mohanlal.

Director G S Vijayan is the creative consultant of the show. The editing and script are by B Ajith. The dialogues are penned by Shyni Jacob Benjamin. Actor Vineeth is the choreographer. Sarath tunes music for the lyrics by Anwar Ali and Beeyar Prasad.

Mohanlal is also planning to conduct the debut program of the Lalisom band along with the opening ceremony of National Games.
