Mohanlal-Shaji Kailas film to start in Oct.

Actor Mohanlal will be teaming up with ace director Shaji Kailas for a film, which will go on the floors in October. The hit duo is joining hands after a gap of 12 years. The film is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor and scripted by Rajesh Jayaram.

Mohanlal made the announcement through his Facebook page on Wednesday. "The wait is finally over! It's with great excitement and happiness that I announce my next project with Shaji Kailas which starts rolling in Oct 2021. This film scripted by Rajesh Jayram and produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas has me and Shaji getting together after 12 long years. Am sure it's going to be worth the wait!" he wrote.

Mohanlal and Shaji Kailas together have made superhit films like "Aaraam Thampuran", "Narasingham", "Naatturajavu" and "Thandavam". Their last film together was "Baba Kalyani."
