Mouli to direct Kamal Haasan

Mouli had directed Nala Damayanthi featuring Madhavan and Geethu Mohandas. The film was produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International in which Kamal made a cameo towards the end of the film. Mouli had also directed Kamal Haasan in Pammal K Sambandham where the Ulaganayagan played a full fledged hero’s role.

Now talks doing the round in Kollywood suggest that Mouli will be directing Kamal Haasan for the third time in a subject that would be humorous and the premise would be a bank heist. The cast and crew are yet to be finalized.

Meanwhile Kamal is right now committed to a film to be directed by Rajeev Kumar who had directed his Chanakyan in 1989. Earlier on it was titled as Amma Appa Vilayaattu but later the makers came to announce that the story is put in the back burner for now and that Rajeev Kumar would direct Kamal for a different story. This subject will have Kamal’s real time daughter Shruti Haasan doing his daughter’s role with Ramya Krishnan as Kamal’s onscreen partner.
