Movie Moghul Ramanaidu is no more

Padma Bhushan and Dada Saheb Phalke Award Winner, Ramanaidu breathed his last a short while ago. The ace producer is suffering from Prostate Cancer for a long time and finally yielded to it. As a mark of respect to him, nobody from Telugu Film Industry will be working tomorrow. Film shootings and film-related works will come to a grinding halt as well.

Ramanaidu was one producer, who gave equal encouragement to smaller and medium budget cinema too. He himself acted in couple of movies in full fledged roles too,one was Hope in 2006 about teenage suicides. Apart from movie production, Ramanaidu, loved acting too, made it a point to appear even in a small cameo in every movie of his. While Ramanaidu made the usual masala stuff, he would invest the profits from that in more smaller movies too.
