University Tamil Movie
The hero, Gandhi, played by Jeevan is a college guy who is an shy and has a defensive attitude as a result of his childhood scars. He has the habit of venting his feelings by placing random calls to unknown people by picking up their phone numbers from the telephone directory. On one such an occasion he calls up Gajala, at just the moment when she was about to commit suicide and talks her into giving up her suicidal feelings.
Both start falling in love without Jeevan realising that Gajala is the popular pop singer in his college. When Jeevan discovers Gajala's identity, he is afraid that she might start hating him because of the minor tiffs they have had in the college. The hide and seek game continues leading to the climax.
The film has good screenplay along with the comedy of Vivek and the short and strong performance of Raghuvaran as the psychology professor.
