Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2015 | UA | Comedy
Critics:
Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini is a film with good intent but is let down with bad narration. Most of the film runs with out a plan or direction. A little care could have made the film much better. But it is definitely a one time watch even in this shape.

ABCD Krishna (Sudheer Babu), the CEO of Wincraft in USA come to India to meet his childhood friends as he near his hometown Krishnapuram, he recalls his friends and his love, Radha (Nanditha). Krishna recalls how Radha becomes inspiration for what he is in life and career today. Even then, he tries to propose for Radha but her mother (Pragathi) gets the love letter and takes it to the college prinicipal (Posani). College principal Nageswara Rao take a huge class and prompt Krishna towards his future. Rest of the story is if Krishna meets Radha at the school reunion? And how they unite at the end?

The role of Krishna is definitely the career best performance from Sudhir Babu. He walked through the character and got involved in this story. His performance particularly in the emotional scenes of the climax is very impressive. Nanditha Raj is pretty and the chemistry between them is good too. Posani Krishna Murali, Chaitanya Krishna, Giribabu, Raghubabu are good in their limited roles. Rana and Naga Chaitanya appeared in little cameos.

Krishnamma Kalipindhi Iddarini is the remake of Kannada Superhit, Charminar with the same director, R.Chandru. The movie stresses on the importance of parents, teachers, friends and love. However the usual commercial disease of Telugu film industry plagued the film as the director dragged few scenes and embedded unnecessary songs and comedy tracks in the film. Particularly the second half of the film went wayward with screenplay going wrong. Particularly the college scenes in the second half are dragged too much. However the twist in the climax is very appreciable.
