We have seen these college love stories beaten to death in Telugu, looks like the film makers are struggling to come out of the Happy Days hangover. If you are not expecting a great novelty and can sit through familiar stuff, then you can try Kerintha once.

Jai (Sumanth Ashwin), Bhavana (Sukeerthi), Sid (Vishwanath), Priya (Tejaswi) and Nookaraju (Parvatheesham) just join in a college for their Masters. However they very soon become good friends. Nookaraju - Bhavana and Sid - Priya make a pair while Jai falls for a Junior Doctor Manaswini (Sri Divya) whom he meets in a bus. Even though Bhavana has feeling for Nookaraju, he tries to woo Shalini, a senior in the college senior. Rest of the story is all about the struggles they under go in college and life.

Sumanth Ashwin does the same character what he is doing so far in his little character. The role does not grill his capabilities in any ways. However once can not miss the rigidness in his body language. Talented actress Sri Divya is totally wasted with an insignificant role but she looked pretty. Tejaswi Madivada is cute and had some good moments in the film. All the new guys and girls perfomrmed. The most notable among all is Parvatheesam who played Nookaraju. Vishwanath and Sukeerthi have come up with decent performances while Pragathi, Anitha Chowdary and supporting cast have all performed their roles well.

The movie, a youthful entertainer had a canny resemblance to Happy Days and other films like 3 idiots and Paatshala. Given an inspiration of a big blockbuster and several movies already made on similar lines, Sai Kiran Adivi fails to show us any novelty. The script which should be strong for such films failed miserably. Just 20 minutes in to the film, the audience will be able to predict all that happens for the next 2 hours, making the film boring.

There are instances of several basics taking for a toss in the movie like a PG guy fails to find an appropriate card to propose his love, as he fails to read English on the card etc and this film had taken 3 years for making and 2 years of auditioning. The director in the end left several lose ends like what happens to their goals etc.

Mickey J Meyer is peppy but the wrong placement of songs killed the effect. Mila Mila and Thanks 2 Zindagi are too good. Cinematography by Vijay K Chakravarthy is good in the song sequences. Even though the entire film is shot in a college campus, he made sure it is not a boring fest. Editing should have been a lot better. Abburi Ravi's dialogues are just okay stuff. Production Values of Sri Venkateswara Creations are appropriate.
