Malini (Poonam Pandey) runs a massage parlour in Mumbai and is the center of attraction in the locality. Just then, Sri Lanka based militants plan an attack on some Tamil people living in Mumbai. However the dreaded militants are in for a shock after they seen Malini in Mumbai. And the rest is about the past of Malini and her connection with the militants.
There is not much to talk about the performances in the movie as it is solely made with the intention of showcasing Poonam Pandey's glamour. She woo the masses with her oomph. Veteran actor Suman is seen as a don and he is decent. There are some other artists like Jeeva and Samrat Reddy who totally look clueless.
Veeru, the director of the film seem to be a totally clueless man. There will be no prizes for guessing the movie is made with sole intention of exploiting Poonam's popularity. Back in 90s, there used to be C grade desi films starring Reshma, Shakeela, Alphonso and others. Malini&Co is a similar attempt but with some better production values.
There are some sensuous scenes even in the intense army backdrop scenes explains the values quotient in the movie. Coming to the technical standards, screenplay is horrible. Music is below average with okay background music. Production values are decent.
Finally, Malini&Co is a dreadfully made C grade attempt to sell Poonam Pandey's glamour. Even the director failed to do that well. It is only the product of some desi masala lovers. Others do not even think of watching it!
