Maga Maharaju Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2015 | Action, Dubbing
Critics:
Maga Maharaju ends up as a below average fare from Vishal. Routine story, predictable treatment, very low entertainment levels have killed the film as much as possible. Watch it at your own risk!

Krishna (Vishal) is a happy go lucky lad who runs his own business living along with his mother. Once he bumps in to Maya (Hansika) and falls for her instantly. He uses RDX Rajasekhar (Santhanam) with out his knowledge and manages to win Maya. But she later deserts him with an incident. Then Krishna comes to know about his father Keshavaraju (Prabhu) and goes in search of him. That search leads to introduction of Vishals two brothers, three aunts and their daughters which leads to new twists in the film. How the film finally ends with the entire family happily uniting is the rest of the story.

Vishal does a role which he is doing for several years. Vibhav and Sateesh are good in their roles. The comedy scenes in their combination are good. Hansika is at her glamorous best in the film and will woo the mass audience to the maximum extent particularly in songs. Santhanam is good in bringing few laughs here and there. Ramya Krishna, Aishwarya and Kiran Rathode are good in their roles. There are two other heroines - Madhurima and Madhavi Latha who are decent in their little roles. Poonam Bajwa's item song is very raunchy.

The major plus point of the film is that despite being a dubbing film it has cast very familiar to Telugu audience. The major minus is the outdated story and routine treatment. There is no single novel point or twist in the film and it goes flat with out any excitement. Director Sundar C. totally failed in all the departments.

Gopi Amarnath's camera work is excellent and captured very good locales. Telugu dialogues of Shashank Vennelakanti worked out in many places. Hip Hop Thamizh failed to impress with any of the song and the back ground music is intolerably loud. Editor Srikanth is also a big failure. Production Values are too good.
