Gautam (Nikhil) is the only son of a rich NRI father. He loves spending his father's hard earned money. But one day out of no where, his father goes bankrupt and there are legal expenses to be met with. Gautam comes to India to sell their ancestral property, Shankarabharanam to make some money. However more trouble awaits him there which also leads to a kidnap. What happens next in the story forms the rest.

Nikhil spoke about so much of home work for the NRI role but it totally failed. The fake NRI accent he used was very irritating. But for the rest of the character, its like a sleep walk for him. Nanditha did not get a role with much substance. Anjali as Dacoit Munni looked like a miscast. Only Sampath and Rao Ramesh have meaty roles in the character artists and they are good. There are so many comedians like Sapthagiri, Prudhvi, Satyam Rajesh, Krishna Bhagwan, Shakalaka Shankar, Sanjay Mishra etc are all wasted. Except for Prudhvi and Sapthagiri all are wasted. In fact, Prudhvi is the only saving grace in the film.

The new comer Uday Nandanavanam seem to a big dud in his first attempt. Neither the sentiment nor the comedy in the first half worked out. The happenings just role with out having any impact on the audience. The second half starts with a promise but very soon falls flat. Only Prudhvi comedy and few scenes will keep the audience entertained. But as a whole, the audience never relate to the film. The movie is a remake of Pyas Gaya re Obama which itself is a failure. Once can not understand how Kona Venkat thought it will work as a remake.

Praveen Lakkaraju comes up with okay music and the back ground score is disappointing. Camera work is okay while Editing should have been lot better particularly the length should have been shortened. Kona's punches only worked out in parts.
