Critics:
Abbayitho Ammayi is yet another attempt to sell the concept of love and infatuation in the name of a youthful entertainer. However lack of seriousness over the script and treatment from the director, led to a complete disaster. Avoid it!

Abhi (Naga Shaurya) is just like any of current generation youth who lives in Real and virtual Worlds (internet) at the same time. In real world, he gets attracted to Prarthana (Palak Laalwani) and in virtual world, he is connected to a girl with Samantha's profile pic. Prarthana and gets attracted to each other and starts dating. When things are going right, she gets closer to her virtual world friend with Pawan Kalyan's profile pic. What happens next in their lives going further forms the rest of the story.

Naga Shaurya is at ease in the role but for the most of the film, he barely does anything as he remains a loser as is expected of him in the film. Palak Lalwai is beautiful but rarely does anything close to act. In fact the character do not have any thing to offer for her. Senior actors - Mohan - Tulasi - Rao Ramesh are wasted in little roles and most of the times, they get overboard most of the times.

Abbayitho Ammayi is a story of the ill-effects of social media in the real life relationships. It is an efficient story which should work with current generation but the director Ramesh Varma failed it big time. In several places, the movie appeared amateurish and over exaggerated in some places. Even the script is not rightly penned as it contained several logical loopholes. The director had left several loose ends which are difficult to explain. The director seem to be directionless with several creative deficiencies.

Shyam K Naidu managed some good visuals here and there. Maestro Ilayaraja as always came up with good composition. Editing should have been a lot better even to make it a bearable film. Production Values are adequate.
