Finally, despite some shortcomings here and there, Tuntari is largely good if not great. The audience will get an average feel by the end of the film.

Raju (Nara Rohit) is a resident of Telecom Colony, Vishakapatnam. He never takes life seriously. One day five software engineers approach him with a proposal. They promise to give One Lakh rupees if he gets trained in boxing and participate in the competition. Raju readily agrees and signs the dotted line. Meanwhile, Raju meets Siri (Latha Hegde) and falls for her instantly. He insists on help from the engineers if they want him to learn boxing and they also do that. But later Raju has to compete with professional boxer, Killer Raju (Kabir Dulhan Singh). Competing with him is almost equal to suicide. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Nara Rohit managed to blend well in the funny character. His comedy timing also improved a bit but it is high time he concentrate on his bulky body. The new comer, Latha Hegde looked glamorous but she failed in expressions. Vennela Kishore, Sudhardhanm, Poojitha Batch did some good comedy. Adhurs Raghu and Shakalaka Shankar sizzled in little characters. Kabir Dulhan Singh is superb as Professional boxer. In fact, he helped elevate Nara Rohit's character.

Tuntari is a fantasy story on the point what happens when future is known in advance. The director, Kumar Nagendra managed to keep the audience interesting and also embedded it with good comedy. That helped the proceedings move faster. Kumar Nagendra also made few changes to the original script and cut it down by about 30 minutes and it worked. On the flip-side, the director has taken come liberties when it comes to logic. Some of the scenes remind Raviteja's Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi. Those who watched the original will miss the touch and another negative is the predictable climax.

Palani Kumar's cinemarography is good. Sai Kartheek's music worked out well and carried the necessary feel. Production Values are very good. Editor Madhu did well with his scissors. Director Kumar Nagendra did well in treating the remake.

Finally, despite some shortcomings here and there, Tuntari is largely good if not great. The audience will get an average feel by the end of the film. Lets see how it works at the box office!
