Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu Telugu Movie

Feature Film | 2016 | UA | Comedy
Critics:
Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu is a disappointing comedy entertainer which offers stale comedy. It was like Sattibabu should be a critic than a film director as he took on the existing cliches on Tollywood very well.

Prashanth (Naveen Chandra) is the son of a farmer who falls in love with Priya (Shruti Sodhi), the only daughter of a rich father. But then the father do not approve of their marriage as every rich father. During their confrontation, Prashanth challenges him to realize the secret of happiness. What happens next in their love story forms the remaining story.

30 years Industry Prudhvi is the major highlight of the film as he gave his 100% for his role in the film. Naveen Chandra's character has got not much substance and is more like a side character. Shruti Sodhi is confined only to skin show and did very little to act. Jayaprakash Reddy, Murali Sharma and other actors are okay.

E.Sattibabu who is known for some hilarious entertainers in the past is making a comeback with Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. But then the movie which has got a decent concept failed in execution. The movie just filled with many spoofs which are only boring and even deviates from the actual story. At one stage, he is seen mocking everyone in Tollywood as the movie goes totally wayward.

Sri Vasanth came up with a below par music and background score is also equally disappointing. The camera work is okay while the editing is disappointing. The dialogues are okay and production values are decent.

Finally, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu is a disappointing comedy entertainer which offers stale comedy. It was like Sattibabu should be a critic than a film director as he took on the existing cliches on Tollywood very well.
