Tholiprema is a good watch for the A-Class audience. The new age love story with a good first half and flat second half is likely to be a likable film in the Valentines Day week.

Aditya (Varun Tej) falls in love with Varsha (Rashi Khanna) in a train journey from Vishakapatnam to Hyderabad. She reciprocates and later they get to join the same college in Hyderabad a few years later. But then, they breakup and six years after that, they meet in London at their workplace. The rest is all about how they sort of their differences and unite.

Varun Tej has slipped into the role of Aditya so effortlessly. But there is nothing to test his acting prowess in the emotional scenes. He tried a bit in dances as well and is okay partially. Rashi Khanna is mesmerizing as Varsha and delivered her career best performance in the film. Priyadarshi is not so great while Hyper Aadi is good in the second half. Naresh and Suhasini are fine.

Tholiprema starts slow but picks pace. The first half of the film is pretty good with some amazing romantic scenes. The second half turns bit slow at time but the film is still a good watch. Debutant Venky Atluri had chosen a simple story but made it beautiful by stuffing it with ample dose of romance and comedy. He is simply superb with his pen especially the way he blended the story with a right mix of emotions is very impressive. Tholiprema is Thaman's best in the recent times. The songs and the background score are good. The cinematography by George C Williams is just fantabulous and production values are lavish. Editing is fine and the dialogues are good as well.

Finally, Tholiprema is a good watch for the A-Class audience. The new age love story with a good first half and flat second half is likely to be a likable film in the Valentines Day week.
