Kirrak Party happens in the four years of Engineering Life of Krishna (Nikhil) and his gang of friends. He has two girl - one whom he is after and one who is after him. The rest is all about his Love, Heart Break and how all this made him a better person than what he is before.

Nikhil has come up with a matured performance in the film and was impressive at all the key moments carrying the film on his shoulders. Simran Pareenja has got a key role in the film but she missed the spark to make an impression like how Rashmika made in the Original Kannada film. Samyuktha Hegde delivered an energetic performance in the second half. The Gang of friends is not so great.

Debut Director Sharan Kopishetty is decent in his debut film. Even though there is not much of novelty, Chandoo Mondeti did a fine job with the dialogues but there is no scope for Sudheer Varma to do the magic with his screenplay. Ajineesh Loknath's music is good and songs are okay. Advaith Gurumurthy's camera work is fine and editing could have been better.

Kirrak Party has got a fairly routine story and reminds us of films like Happy Days, Premam and Shiva. The makers have stuffed with lots of entertainment but the film gets slow here and there. The interval bang is very impressive but the second half should have been handled better as there is too much of lag. The climax of college farewell days is impressive.

Finally, Kirrak Party is surely a passable entertainer and is expected to work with the college students, the target audience. It is expected to be A Minimum Guarantee film considering the costs.
